Bentayan assemblyman Gwee Tiong Hiang and three members from Bakri division were also suspended for six months for improprieties in managing party funds.
The trio had used party funds to buy a pick up truck worth RM45,000 and register it under their own company.
"The transaction was against the party's spirit.
"We had to take action as this was a serious breach of discipline," Tan Kok Wei said.
